For some time now I've been shooting for NU.nl. Most images are posted on their photo site NUfoto.nl where everyone can upload their pictures. Apart from that my images are also used on NU.nl and NUsport. For NUsport I shoot a lot of basketball like the national competition, the Amsterdam Haarlem Basketball Week and Harlem Globetrotters.
My latest assignment is the IBAF Baseball World Cup which is taking place in Amsterdam, Haarlem and Rotterdam.

In 2008 two of our basketball week pictures were nominated for the NU.nl fotoprijs 2007 and made it to the top 10 pictures. You can see our nominated pictures here and here.
In 2009 they changed the format. Visitors could vote on one out of 30 pictures selected by NU.nl. The top 10 would then be jugded bu a professional jury and again we made it to the final but once again, sport doesn't score prices. In honor of their 10 year aniversary they also published a book full of pictures and I'm the feature sport sphotographer in the book.
